2023 National Dachshund Specialty Show
The Dachshund Club of Queensland hosted the National Dachshund Specialty Show from Thursday 25th May 2023 to Sunday 28th May 2023 at the Dogs Queensland Sports Grounds, Durack, Brisbane.
A panel of three international judges, all dachshund specialists, officiated at these shows, namely Mr Calin Simu (Romania), Mr Dan Harrison (USA) and Mrs Dawn Norton (UK).
A record entry over the 4 days was received with 345 dachshunds of all varieties being entered in the shows. Thursday 25th May was the Queensland Club Championship show judged by Calin Simu, Friday 26th May was the Sweepstakes show judged by Dan Harrison and the National was judged by Dawn Norton over 2 full days, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May.
